  • What types of medical appointments do you provide transportation for?
We provide transportation for a wide range of medical appointments. Whether you need transportation for dialysis treatments, chemotherapy sessions, radiation therapy, general checkups, bloodwork, or any other medical appointments, we've got you covered. Additionally, we also offer transportation services for social events or private needs, such as grocery store runs. Our goal is to ensure that you have convenient and reliable transportation for all your medical and personal needs.
  • Are your vehicles wheelchair accessible?
Our vehicles are designed to be wheelchair accessible and are compliant with ADA regulations. We understand the importance of providing a safe and comfortable transportation experience for individuals with mobility needs. Our vehicles are equipped with hydraulic lifts, allowing easy loading and unloading of wheelchairs. Additionally, our vehicles can accommodate bariatric clients, with a weight capacity of up to 600 lbs. We prioritize inclusivity and strive to ensure that all clients can travel with us comfortably and securely.
  • What are your hours of operation?
We are available 24/7. Holidays and weekends included
  • Can I bring a companion or caregiver with me during the ride?
Absolutely! We understand the importance of having a companion or caregiver during medical appointments and we welcome them to accompany you at no extra cost. Please note, however, that additional charges may apply if your companion or caregiver also requires medical transport services. We want to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported throughout your ride with us.
  • Do you offer any discounts or special rates?
We are proud to offer discounts for Lincoln-based trips, dialysis clients, and accounts that bring a large volume. As a local business born and raised in Lincoln, we strive to be Lincoln's go-to transportation service at a competitive price. We believe in providing affordable and reliable transportation options for our community. While we don't specify the exact discount amounts here, we encourage you to give us a call to find out more about our discounted rates tailored to your specific needs
  • Do you accept MediCal, Medicare, or my insurance?
We understand that navigating insurance coverage can be confusing. While Medicare currently does not cover Non-Emergency Medical Transportation rides, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to inquire about coverage options. Each insurance provider has different policies, so it's best to reach out to them directly. If you qualify for coverage, we encourage you to have your insurance provider contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you with the necessary arrangements. We also understand the importance of providing services to Medi-Cal clients and are committed to meeting their healthcare needs. Currently, we are in the process of obtaining Medi-Cal approval to offer our services to Medi-Cal patients. This involves meeting the necessary requirements and ensuring that we can provide high-quality care that aligns with Medi-Cal guidelines. We value inclusivity and aim to serve a diverse range of patients, including those covered by Medi-Cal. We will keep our clients informed about updates regarding our Medi-Cal approval status.
  • Do you screen your drivers?
At Non-Emergency Medical Transport, the safety and well-being of our patients are our top priorities. We have stringent screening processes in place for our drivers to ensure the highest standards of care. Before employment, each driver undergoes a thorough background check, drug test, and driving record evaluation. Our insurance policy mandates that our drivers have a clean record, without any recent accidents. Additionally, we continuously monitor our drivers to ensure they maintain the highest level of professionalism and competence before they are entrusted to drive our patients independently. Rest assured, your safety is in capable hands.
  • Do you transport out of town, county, or even state?
Absolutely! We will take you as far as you need to go, and we will be right there to take you home.
  • How much notice is needed to schedule an appointment?
We kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours' notice to schedule your trip. However, we understand that some circumstances may require immediate assistance, and we are happy to accommodate such requests to the best of our ability. Please do not hesitate to give us a call, and we will work with you to arrange your transportation needs.
  • How does TLC prioritize the safety of its clients and prevent possible infections or transmissions?

Some of these measures include: Thoroughly cleaning the seating area after each trip Proper sanitization of straps and seat belts Daily disinfection, wiping, and vacuuming of our vehicles Willingness to accommodate requests for our drivers to wear gloves during transport
